Action / Community Service /CAS
The Primary Years Program, Middle Years Program and the IB Diploma program all include an action component. In the Primary Years Program students are encouraged to take action as a result of the learning in the Topics of Inquiry (where appropriate).
The Middle Years Program has Community and Service and one of the areas of interaction: the Diploma program has Community Action and Service as a requirement of graduation. At Bali International school service is an integral part of the school curriculum and is compulsory for all students.
In addition to opportunities within the classroom, there are school sponsored extra curricular opportunities for students to fulfill this portion of their program.
