In 2008 BIS created and operates a community library for local children called Taman Bacaan. Each day it is filled with kids from the local banjar who come to read stories in Indonesian and English, as well as learn through using technology and educational games.

On moving to Bali, we wanted our two children to continue their education in an IB accredited school. As one of the oldest schools in Bali, BIS came highly recommended by both friends and colleagues as a school with a diverse cultural mix of students and an international faculty.
