Seo-Yeon, Cheva & Kiva at Sustainability Pavilion (2025)

Sanur, September 2025 – Bali Island School, one of the Best IB Schools in Bali, actively participated in sustainability efforts during Maybank Marathon Bali 2024 and 2025. Our school showcased 18 SDG Heroes, sharing insights on global issues with local students, and donated books to schools in Gianyar to promote education and awareness.

At the Maybank Marathon Bali 2025, Bali Island School led a 30-minute sustainability talk at Bali United Training Centre, highlighting our commitment to quality education and environmental sustainability. Students like Kiva, Seo Yeon, and Cheva shared their projects on marine biodiversity, saving bees, and supporting underprivileged children—demonstrating student leadership for a greener future.

BIS runners joining Maybank Marathon 2025 

Our running community also took part in the race, with over 13,500 runners from 52 countries competing in 10K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon events. The theme “Tracking Mileages for Greener Footprints” emphasized how sports can promote climate action and SDGs through every step taken.
