Bali Island School students receive personalised college admissions support through one-to-one meetings, parent/student workshops, and family consultations.
 
The school hosts university visits, college fairs, and offers resources like the Unifrog platform to aid students in preparing for university applications. BIS is also an official testing centre for Standardised Admission Tests (PSAT, SAT and ACT).

Bali Island School offers guidance to students on: online application platforms, assistance with writing personal statements, recommendation letters, and CVs, interview preparation, as well as providing predicted grades and transcripts.

There are three main events in the College Admissions Programme: 

  • The BIS University Fair in September for Grades 9-12,
  • Career Day in April for Grades 6-11, and
  • Career Week in June for Grade 10

These events provide opportunities for students to engage with professionals and explore potential career paths.

90% of our graduates earn places at their ‘first choice’ university or college. Our International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma results regularly exceed the world average. These results are particularly remarkable given that BIS is not a ‘selective enrolment’ school; we welcome a diverse range of learners.
 
As the first school in Bali to offer all three IB programmes (since 1999), we draw on extensive experience to provide excellent preparation for university and the world beyond.

Our graduation results exceed regularly the world average and 100% of our graduates got accepted at university and 90% at their favourite one.  We are constantly improving our teaching styles to offer the best possible education to our students. With our experience, we offer excellent preparation for university. Beside the curriculum, students are supported by our counselor, who helps them to choose the right courses and prepare university and other applications. Our teachers encourage every student individually to best support their strengths and overcome their weaknesses. Our Diploma results are especially remarkable as we are accepting all students into the Diploma, not only the strongest ones.
