Welcome you to the website of Bali Island School (BIS), formerly Bali International School. BIS has been established in Bali for over 30 years and continues to earn a reputation as a provider of top-quality education to children of both expat and local families. We are also very proud to be the only school in Bali to offer all three IB International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) programmes that enables our our students to have the unique opportunity to seamlessly progress through all three IB programmes: the Primary Years Programme (Kindergarten to Grade 5), the Middle Years Programme (Grades 6 to 10), and the Diploma Programme (Grades 11 to 12).
Additionally, we are a fully accredited school with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Council of International Schools. Being accredited demonstrates our alignment with a set of exacting standards for high-quality education and opens doors to many of the top international universities around the world for our graduating students.
At BIS, we are committed to offering students and families an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning community that provides an exceptional international education to a diverse range of students from over 40 nationalities.
Our campus opened in 1985 and boasts an array of science laboratories, music, technology, art, and general classrooms, as well as other specialised areas, such as our well-stocked library, multi-purpose room, swimming pool, and covered sports area. Our team of highly qualified and experienced educators is truly global, with teachers coming from many corners of the world, working in close collaboration with their Indonesian colleagues.
I encourage you to explore our website to learn more about us. We look forward to welcoming you personally to our wonderful community and beautiful campus. Therefore, please contact our office team today to arrange your visit.
