Governance and Leadership
Yayasan Bali International School (YBIS) Governance
Bali Island School is a legally registered school operating under the foundation, Yayasan Bali International School (YBIS).
Members of the Board of Directors (Pengurus) and Supervisory Board (Pengawas) are appointed by the Governing Board of Advisors (Pembina) for a 5-year term and may be reappointed.
Aside from being accountable to Indonesian foundation law, the YBIS governance model and implementation are reviewed by our accrediting agencies, the Badan Akreditasi Nasional (BAN), the Council of International Schools (CIS), and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The school is an International Baccalaureate (IB) 3 programme school, which is evaluated every 5 years.
